Maxon’s Ryan Olson Named a 2025 SBJ 40 Under 40 Honoree

At Maxon Fine Jewelry, we believe that leadership, dedication, and passion are what set us apart. That’s why we’re thrilled to celebrate our very own Ryan Olson, co-owner of Maxon, as he earns a well-deserved spot in Springfield Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2025.

Ryan’s commitment to excellence in leadership in business, law, and the Springfield community has made a lasting impact. This recognition honors his role in shaping Maxon’s continued success while also acknowledging his broader contributions to the business world.

A Legal Mind with a Business Heart and a Love of Fine Jewelry

Before stepping into the fine jewelry industry, Ryan built an impressive career as a partner at Husch Blackwell, specializing in commercial litigation, construction disputes, and employment law – where he continues to practice today.

His background in business, combined with his legal expertise, gave him a unique perspective on what it takes to run and protect a company.

When he and his wife, Jessica Harmison-Olson, took ownership of Maxon Fine Jewelry in 2023, their vision was clear: to honor the store’s legacy while bringing fresh leadership and innovation to the brand.

Ryan’s strategic thinking and business acumen alongside Jessica have helped play a key role in the continued growth of Maxon, ensuring that it remains the Jeweler of the Ozarks.

Building a Legacy at Maxon

As co-owner of Maxon, Ryan helps shape the company’s vision while working alongside Jessica and the incredible Maxon team. His role isn’t just about business strategy—it’s about preserving and enhancing the reputation of a company built on trust, quality, and exceptional service.

Maxon Fine Jewelry isn’t just a store; it’s a place where customers celebrate life’s biggest moments. From engagement rings to heirloom-worthy timepieces, Ryan takes great pride in being part of a business that helps people mark life’s most treasured milestones.

Under his and Jessica’s leadership, Maxon continues to be the only Official Rolex Jeweler in southern Missouri and a trusted name in fine jewelry.

An Adventurer at Heart

Ryan’s leadership extends beyond the business world—he’s an adventurer at heart. He and Jessica are avid hikers, spending their free time exploring Missouri’s trails and rivers with their children.

Their shared goal of visiting every U.S. national park has led them on incredible journeys, including a recent trip through all eight national parks in Arizona and Utah.

Their passion for adventure doesn’t stop at the U.S. borders. They’ve hiked the ancient Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, spent a night deep in the Amazon rainforest, and continue to seek out new experiences that fuel their love for the outdoors.

A Well-Deserved Recognition

Ryan’s recognition as an SBJ 40 Under 40 honoree is a testament to his leadership, dedication, and vision. Whether he’s guiding Maxon’s future, helping local businesses through his legal expertise, or exploring new trails with his family, he brings the same level of commitment and passion to everything he does.

We’re proud to celebrate this achievement with him and can’t wait to see what the future holds for Ryan, Maxon, and the Springfield business community.
